Notable quote - Petra Raja Kamaruddin

A powerful quote from Raja Petra Kamaruddin There should be no bloodshed and loss of life. And ask the Malays in the opposition to come out in defence of their non-Malay brothers and sisters and warn the Umno Malays, in no uncertain terms, that they take to the streets at the risk of facing fellow Malays from the opposition who will defend their non-Malay brethren to the last drop of their blood. I, for one, am ready to stand by my Chinese and Indian comrades. So let Umno be warned." - Raja Petra Kamarudin, editor of Malaysia Today now under ISA detention. I copy the above quote from www.littlespeck.com. This is how far the progressive Malays in Malaysia have come, moving away from racial and parochial politics, into a new world of multi ethnicity, a future where all men are brothers.

I just hope that when opposition comes into power they don't turn around do the same thing their enemies did.

ISA should not be use against people who want freedom and peace.

Free all detainee.

we are witnessing the rise of a bumi elite that is more international in outlook as against the racist and parochial umnoputras.

malaysia needs more bumis like Raja Petra Kamaruddin, Zaid Ibrahim, Anwar and his team. surprising there are also many progressive elements within PAS.

All men have always been brothers since the beginning. Most of us just refuse to accept it and insist on being racists.

it's funny how the singaporean media tries to spin the potential 'gains' to be gained (from covering up the truth) - when the fact is that temasek could have lost everything.

this is a miracle!

*(while also covering the truth)

btw the gains are in US$ dollars. given the steady decline of the american dollar, the gains if calculated in sing-dollars i won't be surprise if it's actually much less, or registers a loss even.

all investments is risky business. the higher the return, the bigger the risk. it is a kind of betting actually. calculated risk.

but it is called investment by the financial gurus.
