call for reform of healthcare financing system’. This is the headline of an
article of a forum of prominent doctors calling the govt to do more to reform
the healthcare financing structure and spend more. They said the govt is not
spending enough with ‘Singapore’s core financing system
of the “3Ms” covered just 15 per cent of total healthcare expenditure.
So
they want the govt to pay more, raise the 15 per cent. Is this the real
problem? No matter how much the govt is going pay for healthcare, if the cost
of healthcare is not brought down, just like housing prices, it is as good as a
dog chasing its own tail. The more the govt pays, the higher the insurance and
its payout, the higher will be medical cost. As long as someone is paying, it
is good reason to say it is affordable and the fees can just keep going up ala
housing prices.
This
classical circular logic has been enshrined into the most corrupt financial
system in the USA. What cock is this
nonsense? Didn’t they know what is happening to the American and European
healthcare system? Are they going to repeat the same shit here, keep chasing up
the cost of insurance and govt subsidies only to raise fees higher?
Who
is going to benefit in this shitty situation and who ultimately pays for all
the shit?

Guess who will benefit with increased government spending on healthcare? As someone noted some time ago, whenever there is a medical seminar or conference you will see hundreds of Porsches, Feraris, Jaguars, Mercedes SLCs, etc. Apart fron taking Dr.Susan Lim to court what else have been done to rein in the cost of medical care? Even the recently deceased doctor who gave some sage advice to young dental students confessed to being able to make millions and have a fantastic lifestyle for doing so little.Medisave, etc, is the medical profession`s guarantee of riches. Not everyone can have a $8 heart by-pass.

If they know how to keep the salary of the lowest 20% low for the last 10 years, there is no reason for the escalation of prices in health care, housing, transport etc. The only question is, "How does keeping these cost low benefit the MIW?". If it does not, nothing will be done.
The only way to reduce these cost is to kick them out in 2016.

Yes, they are. Why? Because they can. Because the system is set up from the beginning (the need to "reform" is built into the system) to do just that.
Tip for the day: go private. Fuck the welfare state healthcare system. It looks like it was created to "help". But it is a trap designed by its very nature to trap you, over service and over charge so that they can REMAIN IN EXISTENCE, and you are the suckers paying for it all.

Once they called themselves restructured hospital, sinkie know that they are no longer governmental public hospital but they don't actually know what are the restructured hospitals are all about. They perceived that they are now different but they assume that they are not private. Actually for all intent and purposes they are private hospitals offering different level of care based on amount you are willing to pay.
For example if you pay top dollar, you can choose doctor and get early appointment though still not as fast as the real private one. The restructured hospitals now even have different areas for different grade of patients. So sinkie knn u better wake up.

The problem of our healthcare is medical cartel. The scions of elite families become doctors if they do not want to go into politics or business. Over the years, the medical cartel has become rent seeking, raking up cost exorbitantly and giving high barriers to new job seekers.

Traditional medicine has been around for millenium and many were fully tested and tried and proven to be working, minus the snake oil.
Let me offer you a few proven and tested remedies with meself as the guinea pig. 1. Mouth ulcer. After suffering for many years with this pain in the mouth and trying all the crap western medicine without any help but more pain, suffering and wasting more money, I am now ulcer free because of Winter Melon Frost. It used to be less than $2 a tube, now about $3.50.
Use it several times on the affected area, best when it just turns red and starting to cause pain. When it is full grown, it can't do much as it will take its own natural cause. At early stages, my ulcer will not last more than 3/4 days. It used to be a couple of weeks and damn bloody big and painful.
2. Fungus attack in hands and legs. Save your money from buying expensive anti fungal cream. Just apply Tiger Balm in the same way as you apply anti fungal cream. And it got rid of the fungus much faster without costing a bomb. Keep applying for a week or two to clear up any remedial fungus.
3. And the mother of all tummy upset, from diarrhoea to constipation and food poisoning, use Pysillium Husk. Get it from little India for less than $2, and a pack could last for a very long time if used when needed.

When one has been suffering from the pain of ulcers and to be near ulcer free, what more proof you need. It still hits me now and then but with the frost, it did not get too far and the damage and pain is limited to 2 or 3 days instead of a couple of weeks when full grown.

There are some reports to suggest that wintermelon frost works; if I go by your anecdotal account; on the type of ulcer you've experienced. However there are many causes of oral ulcers. Your cure might not work for all, that is assuming that it is a cure to begin with.
As with psyllium : it is a binding agent -- fibre actually. So if you have loose stools, psyllium could help. Also it might bind up/ neutralize any infective agents -- as burnt toast or activated carbon might do.
Tiger Balm contains camphor, a well-known anti-fungal.
