Make Singapore safe for Singaporeans

Another case of a foreigner, must be another talent, a talented cook, got drunk and bashed up a taxi driver, damaged a motocycle and a taxi door. He was sentenced to a miserable 2 weeks’ jail. The foreign talent, Garfield Gordon Angove III, 38, was also fined $1,000 and had to pay $3,500 to the taxi driver for assaulting him.

The sheepish and timid citizens are furious. The beating of these citizens by foreigners who were given the opportunity to work and make a good living by the good grace of the govt, not necessarily of the people, has gone one too far. Too many timid citizens had been beaten by foreigners and they are not going to take it quietly any longer. They are screaming for blood. They want the court to give a heavier sentence, not a miserable 2 weeks. Is this how valuable the life of a citizen of this City, just bashed them up and 2 weeks’ jail is about it, with a few thousands to pay for medical, pain and suffering as compensation? Did the sheeples shout cheap, cheap, cheap?

Would the govt wake up, just like the issue of discrimination against Singaporeans by foreigners for employment, and start to take the beating of citizens seriously? Would the govt protect the citizens and take a strong stand to stop this abuse of its citizens by foreigners? If so, making an example of such rogues that were given the highly prized title of foreign talents to spite the less talented locals is in order.

The govt should make it clear that these foreigners are here as our guests and not here to beat up the hosts. If they do so, they should be deported immediately, within 24 hours once found guilty by the courts. How can these foreign rogues be invited here to take the jobs away from the locals, enjoy our hospitality and still go about beating up the locals and get away practically scot free?

The people should demand that the govt they trust to protect them, protect them from bodily harm especially from the foreigners brought in by the govt, to take a tough stand against such foreigners. It is the govt’s fault for bringing these rogues in big numbers here, and to praise them sky high as talents when many are simply rubbish, rogues, crooks and cheats, to kick them out if they beat up the citizens.

This is the least the govt must do for the unpopular open door policy. The people did not ask to be beaten by foreigners. Kick them out if they thrashed our hospitality. This would remind the foreigners to behave and to show some respect to the owners of this City. They are guests and can be thrown out if they misbehaved. Or shall we go all the way, since we loved the foreigners so much and so eager to please them, to throw out the citizens that made foreigners unhappy to want to beat them instead?

Should the govt send a strong message to foreigners that this is the home of Singaporeans? Beating Sinkies as a past time is not acceptable. Or should the govt remind the Sinkies that the foreigners are their benefactors, and it is ok to be beaten by the foreigners once a while, and stop whining? Who to trust?

Make Singapore safe for Singaporeans, from being beaten by foreigners? Unbelieveable! Uniquely Singapore.

This is one example of people trusting that the govt will make Singapore safe for Singaporeans from being beaten by foreigners.

14 days jail term is definitely tooooooooooooooooo short.

knn. Here you go again.
Gahmen this, gahmen that.
You think what?
This PAP gahmen is here to serve Singaporeans ah?
The way you write.
Like you are expecting a PAP gahmen to be on the side of Singaporeans.

You better get your thinking straight.
Before I come over and fix you.
The PAP gahmen is here to serve Singaporeans OR the Singaporeans are here to serve the PAP gahmen?
Better think carefully before you anyhow write.
Or else you will repent.

Readbean,

Sinkies deserve it. They voted repeatedly for the PAP. I didn't.

It's already here, to show who the boss? It's really pointless to whine now. Learn to live with it as I have.

"This is one example of people trusting that the govt will make Singapore safe..."
I presume you believe what you said and at one time or another voted for them?

What the point crying now? Learn to live with it. If you want to whines, go to TRE you'll find many there, repeatedly saying the same old shit day in and day out. Yam Seng!

Don't be a taxi driver lah. Even Sinkies, not just foreigners, may hit you or not pay you, if you are a taxi driver.

Anonymous said...

How many per cent of taxi drivers, out of the total, had been hit?

Definitely not 60%, tio bo?

We need to see such incidents in perspective.

There is no such thing as zero incidents, or 100% voted PAP.

Most foreigners are good people lah. Only a few will hit people.

"Most foreigners are good people lah. Only a few will hit people."

So base on this logic, can we also correctly say:

"Most PAP politicians are good people lah. Only a few will screw people."?

If only they can confirm that taxi driver can be awarded 3.5 K for any 2 punches,I am willing to be a taxi driver, provoke pax 3 times a month and get richer by 10.5K monthly, and be the highest paid driver without the need to drive day and night.

The sentence is reasonable but the compensation will only encourage pokkai like me to provoke others if I am a cabby.

In passing a sentence we have to look into the circumstances.Could it be that the driver provoke the pax?

At times, driver need to be kopak a bit as some are arrogant,to learn a lesson to be humble and not choosy.I have some bad experiences with them though I know not all drivers are bad. That is why only a minority will get hantam.

We should be more compassionate to those drunkard who are law obedient by not driving but to take a cab.

Many of these assaults can be avoided if only driver know proper anger management.NTUC or WDA should have courses like unarmed combat for them or anger control management. I do not have any bad experiences with cabby whenever I am oversea. They are polite, sincere and grateful to me to be their pax.

Stay in nearby airport and take a cab from there?See some of their moody face oredi spoil my holiday mood,no matter how many mei mei I hug oversea.

Another day.
Another Singaporean beaten up by a Foreign Talent.
Another new Opposition voter is born.

(Mr Lee) He said it is important that Singaporeans trust that the government understands their needs, is committed to the people, and will remain a steward of the public good.

Hey beaten up taxi driver.
The gahmen understands your needs.
It is committed to you.

I better don't be a taxi driver.

Maybe I should follow like the one from spain with 2 degrees and a master degree to be a toilet cleaner.

But be a toilet cleaner also 'siong'.

Because if these FTs anyhow SPRAY, I also dare not to tell them.

Ha ha ha.

Know why my reaction like that?

Because assuming hypothetically another opposition figure say Hong San Soon Chee suffers same misfortune to be frequently disturbed by nuisance unbearable noises from upstairs foreigners say pinoy or ah nei or ang mo or any nationality, would the relevant authority be going all the way out to uphold what is right since our govt already publicly promised they are loong chong on our side?

Technically, since all Singaporean males have to do NS and opposition people arguably may be doing double NS being in the opposition which means double sacrifice, shouldn't all the more their well being be of utmost priority.

Doesn't make any sense if they are any lesser.

Just thinking aloud what is the actual situation on the ground.

Me will not say that locals are mostly bullied by foreigners or the Other Way.

I see the powerful bullies and manipulates the weak and the workers exploited by their employers and superiors.

Tiok Bo?

If you say "A" and wish people to give you the trust, then you must and be seen to do "A".

Cannot be you say "A", then supposedly or unknowingly or forgetfully do "B" or seen to do "B", then people may after a while link you with the boy who cried wolves once too often and onwards may not trust you any more because just like the simple villagers in the story, ordinary folks are kind hearted but also cannot trust blindly and get their trust misplaced.

Headline ... Singapore's two oldest universities NUS and NTU was voted 26th and 76th respectively by the
Times Higher Education (THE) World University ranking .
But what is the point if our local graduates are loosing out to these " DO-NOT-KNOW-WHAT-UNIVERSITY " foreign talents . Any body have an answer to it ?

These foreign talents ( FTs ) come to our land to compete with our citizens for jobs ; and now beat up our taxi driver . Just 2 weeks jail ... our government should send the offender home instead .

Technically and rightfully, whatever the allegiance or profession or social standing or colour or creed etc, all Singaporeans are equal and should be equal under the law.

Both are wrong! PAP and the foreigners didn't screw you. You screw yourself. You voted for the PAP repeatedly, after fifty years with all Public and Privates sectors in their control. They can and will do what they want. Vote them out in 2016? Dream on. There are no ways to remove them.

If you think life is hard today, your children will even face greater hardship. Migrate? Too late, many countries’ doors are closed - sick and tire of migrants taking away locals jobs. Especially in EU.

Penang cannot meh?

Chiang Mai also not bad.

How about Bali? Every day is like holiday and golden sunset.

Anonymous said...

Ha ha ha. Talking about migrating options, don't forget Yangon. If ASSK get elected supreme leader in 2015, Sinkies can migrate en masse there to help build up Myanmar with experiences learned here. Not too bad slogging and sacrificing for a benign, caring and wise genuine altruistic leader. If Sinkie papayas take care foreigners first and foremost, cannot blame Sinkies go pledge their lives to other 3rd world countries also. Maybe bolehland also can consider since Iskandar booming! Indonesia also booming and GDP S$1.5 Trillion, many, many times Sinkapoor's GDP.

Anonymous said...

Tiok lor! Bolehland also not bad, can consider work and live there. At least they pro-own citizens. Their PM and leaders at least don't carry foreigners up and kiss their back sides.

Well, an old sage once said the daft citizens needed a pair of spurs up their collective derriere. Maybe these imports are his metaphorical spurs, his secret weapon. Cop that dear citizens for being meek and daft.

Red Bean,

Are you still wishing they will turn around rewarding sinkies because of the years we have put in for this country, seems like quite a few here still wishes that as well, awarding money for insults and harm, telling noise ft's to fo or shut up etc......

Its plain as water....they are bringing the ft's to replace.....the younger, to populate, what's there to protect, the ft's knows....they are here to replace, simple and clear, they kill their own kind here knowing that the justice protects them from being hang.

Please wake up people, look at all the policies that is made and tell me if there is any one, i just want one that is truely uniquely for the good of singaporeans without any punches pull of any sort.......any?????

In China's history there had been many occasions when the traitors opened the gate to let in the enemies to conquer and occupy China. Very similar. Here it is done openly.

'True Blue Sinkie:
October 5, 2013 at 11:02 am (Quote)

I sat down on the chair at one of the NUS canteen while waiting for my friends to order their food. One PRC Chinese shouted at me rudely “fark off” as he wanted the seat. So I gave way to this ugly china man. He is probably on a PAP scholarship, while singaporeans have to pay their tuition fees out of their pockets. This incident happened in 1998.'

Sinkies deserve to be treated this way if they don't stand up for their right against foreigners in their own country.
